Eerie Pubs Covers

Eerie Publications had the damnedest covers of any horror comics ever. I recall being slightly unsettled by them as a lad.. My favorites are the humorous ones like the Witches' Tales above, and the Tales from The Tomb, with the horror artist getting his monstrous comeuppance (Myron Fass?). The Monster vs. Monster covers are cool too as The Tales Of Voodoo depicts..

Starkly Sinister!

Hollywood Horror Teeth. The design and copy on this is mighty fine. It looks 1950s, but must be newer than that.

The Biggest Wrestler Of All Time!

Martin "The Blimp" Levy was billed as "the heaviest wrestler of all time" He could give the McGuire Twins a run for their money!  Sadly, he was unlucky in love it seems. Whoa Nellie!

A WWF Halloween.

An interesting photo of a Halloween themed Saturday Night's Main Event (1986, I think). This was the WWF at it's nuttiest. In an interview, Roddy Piper claimed he got between Randy Savage, and Elizabeth just to mess with the Macho Man. Piper? A smart-ass? Heaven forefend!

Mad Monsters #10

Mad Monsters #10 (1965) Who would've thought that a magazine would devote a cover to The Incredibly Strange Creatures (Who Stopped Living And Became Mixed-Up Zombies)? Not me friends, but here you go...

Japanese Baron Von Rashke Card

Here's the master of the claw hold sporting the ol' swastika again in this Gong Magazine trading card from somewhere around 1968-1972. It seems you had to cut these out of the magazine..?

You Don't Have To Be A Headhunter!

Shrunken heads were very popular in the 1950s - 1960s. You could fork over $2.98 for this baby, or you could go DIY, like Ed Gein up in Wisconsin. Inspired by the American Indians who used all of their kills, Eddie made much more use of the acquisitions / kills than shrunken heads in that creepy house... [via Boys and Ghouls Podcast]

Dirty Ol' Ladies!

You can't help but wonder how many of this Roach T-shirt design sold... I don't know too many women would be brave enough to pull it off - put it on actually.

Kali Is Hot!

I'm not sure why, but the Hindu goddess of death, Kali, has been featured on more than a few matchboxes. The cult of her boys must've liked fires, and why not.

Larry Brent

Larry Brent # 107 is I am assuming, a German Comic book. Even if not, this cover is so cool that it's hard to care!
