Visit Transylvania was from Topps Funny Travel Posters from 1967. There were 24 posters in a set, but this one had to be the best. Outstanding art by Wally Wood to boot!

Woolworth Was Topps!

A very cool shot of a Woolworth candy aisle from 1973-1974. Wacky Packages, and Kung Fu gum cards by the boxfulls, etc!

Funny Monsters Cards

From the 1959 Topps series, Funny Monsters AKA You'll Die Laughing, this card is a goody because of Jack Davis' use of color, and atmosphere. Monsteriffic!

Odd Rods

Here are a couple of Donruss' Odd Rods sticker series that lasted from 1969 - 1973. Many later cards were reprints of the first two series - I'm really not sure. We just bought 'em and put them on our notebooks. Art by the great B.K. Taylor.

Monster Wacky Packages - Warren Mags!

Here are 3 very cool monster themed Wacky Packages stickers lampooning Warren Magazines! If there is an Eerie magazine parody, I haven't found it...yet.

Green Hornet Stickers

Topps' Green Hornet Stickers were so cool.  Donruss had Green Hornet cards out at the same time but they were second best to these babies. [1966]

Dark Shadows Wrappers

Dark Shadows wrappers from the green, and purple (1st) series, 1969, and 68 respectively. I still need a purple series wrapper for  the crypt!

Japanese Baron Von Rashke Card

Here's the master of the claw hold sporting the ol' swastika again in this Gong Magazine trading card from somewhere around 1968-1972. It seems you had to cut these out of the magazine..?

This is a promotional poster for the Philadelphia Gum's Dark Shadows Gum Cards 1st series in 1968. Rare indeed!

Creature Feature Box

It's the display box for Creature Feature gum cards (AKA You'll Die Laughing) by Topps in 1973. What is remarkable about this series is that Topps took some liberties with the photos, and inserted the faces of Topps employees, family, and friends on some of the cards! A person not that familiar with the classic movies might have not even noticed! Strange...

Addams Gum Card Puzzle

Here is the image you'd get when you had the all the gum cards needed to complete it. Nice. The ABC logo is an interesting twist. (Donruss, 1964)

Addams Gum Card Box

A beautiful store display box of the 1964 Addams Family Gum Cards. I wish I could say it was mine, but alas, no dice. Donruss was never the best in the gum card department, and the cards themselves are not great, but they hit a home run on the design on the box.
