I never knew this existed back in the day, or I would've been dying to get one! The best of the show - spookiness! I hope I run across one before I go to that great Crypt in the sky..well, you know what I mean!

From the great Collinsport Historical Society website comes this cast photo of the cast of Dark Shadows from mid 1967. Of course Jonathan Frid is in the center, fangs all out and stuff....

Dark Shadows Wrappers

Dark Shadows wrappers from the green, and purple (1st) series, 1969, and 68 respectively. I still need a purple series wrapper for  the crypt!

The Edge Of Night!

With a cool title card like this you'd swear this would be a horror soap like Dark Shadows. No luck it was just a run-of-the-mill soap opera. It did run on CBS from 1956 - 1975, which is no small feat. Strangely in 1975, ABC picked it up, only to drop it a short while later..

Dark Shadows Gum Cards Boxes

The two display boxes are from the two series' of Dark Shadows gum cards. The pink series was released in 1968, and the green series are from 1969. Loved 'em.  I have a few (plus a wrapper from the green series), and I'm always looking for more! Made by Philadelphia Gum.

Aurora Meets Dark Shadows!

What a great addition this would have made to the 1969 Aurora Monster Scenes line of model kits!  Alas, it is a fan-made / fantasy display box The art is from the Gold Key Dark Shadows comic books. Via The Collinsport Historical Society.
