Super TV Heroes #1
This is on my want list indeed. Hanna-Barbera Super TV Heroes #1, Gold Key, 1968. I always had a soft spot for Gold Key anyway, and this brings back a lot of cool Saturday Morning memories..

Milton Meets Milton (Bradley)
Here's a cool item - A Milton The Monster Game, by Milton Bradley from 1965. Milton aired on ABC from 1965 - 1968. It was the best of Hal Seeger's efforts. The show also featured Fearless Fly, Muggy Doo, and Stuffy Durma (which sounds nasty), and others. Bob McFadden did all the voices, and was great at his job.

Jonny Quest Premium
Here are some great in-store displays for the P.F. Flyers Jonny Quest Magic Ring. The thing was, you had to buy a pair of P.F. Flyers to get the ring! I can only imagine the pressure put on the parents at the shoe department!
Jonny Quest Paint By Number
I ran across this Transogram Jonny Quest Paint By Number Set.. There is very little Jonny Quest merchandising compared to almost every other Hanna-Barbera series, especially one as successful as JQ. The package design is eye-catching as well. Either 1964, or 65.

Mad, Mad, Mad Monsters
This is a title card from Rankin-Bass' Mad, Mad Mad Monsters (1972), one of the ABC Saturday Superstar Movies.. It can be thought of as a prequel to Mad Monster Party (1967), without the stop motion, and Boris Karloff, of course. Frankenstein creates a bride for the monster, and holds a big wedding for the happy couple.

ABC Cartoon Coolness
What a great deal. ABC-TV thought of us kids on Thanksgiving! Cartoons, plus Happening '68. They had me at Milton The Monster.

Filmation Ad
Here's a neat trade paper ad for the Filmation Saturday morning debuts in 1968. All were CBS shows except Fantastic Voyage. It was a ABC show.

Hanna-Barbera Heroes!
What a cool illustration of the best Hanna-Barbera super heroes of the 1960s! Yes, The Fantastic Four are technically Marvel, but why spoil the party? Man, do I ever wish Boomerang still showed these gems...

Space Kidettes Puzzle
A scarce example of merch for The Space Kidettes. I think this was an underrated Saturday morning show from Hanna-Barbera. Good stories and very little "cuteness". It aired on NBC-TV from 1966 - 67.

Groovie Goolies Candy Boxes
I loved these Candy & Prizes boxes you used to get. Add the Groovie Goolies to the deal, and I had to have 'em! It's the same old story, "I wish I still had them!" These would have been 1970, or 1971.
Space Ghost Model Sheet (1966)
Here is Alex Toth's model sheet for Hanna-Barbera's Space Ghost. I never got why the ghost never wore boots. It's no big deal, but it was...different. Great show. This was H-B at their best. (CBS, 1966)

Goolie Puzzle
Here's a beautiful Groovie Goolies jigsaw puzzle by Fairchild from 1970. "Wolfie's Weird World Of Sports" There just wasn't enough Groovie Goolie merch available, doggone it!

Judy Jetson Meets Jonny Quest?
Here is an oddity from 1977 - A coloring book with a Jetsons, and Jonny Quest crossover. I am intrigued. I need one of these.

ABC-TV Black Friday 1966
I don't recall this, but it seems ABC aired a cartoon block on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Here is a 1966 TV Guide ad to prove it! Not a bad idea really...
ABC-TV Sundays - 1967
An ad for "Sunday is Fun Day on ABC", from 1967. I don't recall the other networks airing Sunday cartoons. Our local ABC affiliate was airing Christian shows in these time slots, although I have a memory of catching a Bullwinkle episode one day. The thing is, this would be an outstanding Saturday line up. Oh well..

The Arabian Knights
My favorite cartoon from The Banana Splits Show (NBC, 1968) Saturday morning goodness from Hanna-Barbera!
