The Original Mr. Bill!

Through the 1960s - '70s, all the kids in Upstate S.C., Western N.C., and N.E. Georgia, started their day  with Mr. Bill's show on WLOS, TV-13, Asheville, N.C.. He featured Three Stooges shorts, Harvey Cartoons, Roger Ramjet, and other goodies, with live in-studio wrap-arounds.
Mr. Bill was Bill Norwood, who doubled as weatherman on Ch. 13. The show was called Mr. Bill's Workshop, and later Mr. Bill's World.
I (and everyone I knew) watched many a- times as I waited on the school bus, and especially in the dead of winter we watched closely to see the lists of school closings!
They always got more snow, etc. up in the mountains. Lucky finks...

Count Chocula Poster

Neat premium poster - I wonder if this is just a detail of a larger poster? I mean we see Frankenberry in the lower right corner, all un-colored and stuff... (General Mills, 1972)

Batman - 1966

A great piece of art inspired by the animated opening of the 1966 ABC-TV series, by the great Patrick Owsley!

Painful

Dusty Rhodes in a 1976 ad for Stanback Headache Powders. With a T-shirt mail-in offer. Yes, I had one.

The Thing mechanical bank original box...

I actually had a chance to buy one of these babies in the late 1980s, but thought $35 was a bit pricey. I am still kicking myself.. Update: I finally broke down and bought a replica box, but I will continue looking for an original...
