Batman was the 1st appearance of The caped Crusader on film. It starred Lewis Wilson as Batman, and Douglas Croft as Robin. 15 chapters from Columbia Pictures (1943).
Batman And Robin was the 1949 sequel to
Batman. This time out Batman was played by Robert Lowery, and Robin was Johnny Duncan. It was the usual 15 chapters. I thought the Batman costume in this one was especially bad-looking. I guess they lost the originals
and the designs as well. Despite that, I enjoyed the serial. Sadly I don't own the first...
