If you've never seen cartoonist Virgil "Vip" Partch, then you're missing something great. The characters he draws are just funny alone, but add to that a chaotic, irreverent sense of humor, and it is just gold. His forte is the foibles of the sexes in love, the pitfalls of too many cocktails, and customs of mid-century America. I was lucky enough to find a copy of Crazy Cartoons as a kid, even though it was originally published in 1956 by Fawcett.
