One of my greatest joys of summer vacation was getting the (Scholastic Books') Summer Weekly Reader. There wasn't that much to it, but I waited impatiently for the sound of the mailman every Wednesday to get the latest copy. This one was a bit before my time, but it seems nobody saved theirs, and this was the only photo I could find...Sigh...Wish I had saved mine.
